Overview: Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled individual with a passion for dentistry and patient care. Responsibilities: – Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Facilitate patient care- Maintain accurate patient records Qualifications: – Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting is a plus- X-ray certification preferred- Proficiency in medical records management- Knowledge of infection control procedures- Ability to perform patient assessments- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems- Understanding of CAD/CAM technology in dentistry- Knowledge of medical terminology- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software- Familiarity with medical coding practices- Strong assisting skills during dental procedures- Anatomy knowledge for effective patient care Join our team and enjoy the opportunity to grow in your dental career while providing essential support to our patients.
