Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Conduct oral hygiene assessments and develop personalized treatment plans- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed- Administer local anesthesia to patients when necessary- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist- Knowledge of medical coding and HIPAA regulations- Familiarity with medical imaging software for dental x-rays- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and procedures- Solid knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
