Responsibilities: – Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and applying fluoride treatments- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for dental care- Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing materials and instruments- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care- Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in continuing education programs Qualifications: – Must be an RDH in the state of Ohio, open to hygienists just graduating – Valid CPR and other necessary certifications – Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. – Proficient in Office 365 and Microsoft Office. – Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital record-keeping systems. – Proficiency in using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental procedures – Experience with Dentrix or similar practice management systems – Knowledge of dental coding and billing procedures – Familiarity with dental records management and HIPAA regulations – Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills – Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds – Familiarity with OpenDental, XDR a plus Working Hours: Full time position with hours to be discussed. No weekend hours required. Some evening availability for patient appointments.
